M+B: Girl, Interrupted.

The first reason i watched this movie is because of Angelina.
And i love is sooo much that i searched high and low for the book.
Back then, it was difficult to find movie tie-in books.
I can related myself to this movie.
Feeling lost.
Moody.
Bipolar.
etc.
I know how it feels like to be different and misunderstood.
No doubt, Angelina was superb in this movie.
There are so many confused people out there, who needs help and love from us.
Nowadays it might be normal for people to see a shrink,
but during Kaysen's [ the author] time, it was not accepted.
There are scenes where we can see how the community perceived them as [ mental patients ]
If you want to know how it is like to be in a mental institution watch the movie or read the book

Susanna: "I know what it's like to want to die. How it hurts to smile. How you try to fit in but you can't. How you hurt yourself on the outside to try to kill the thing on the inside. "

p/s i prefer the book because it has a different ending.
