Trauma-TV series- [ Season 1 ]

I am watching this at the moment. No doubt it is just one season. But in can be in line with House M.D, Grey's Anatomy and The Practice. It has a lot of drama. It enlightens me to the life of Paramedics in San Francisco. i love it as i love these type of Tv Series. It is a very light tv series actually. A good way to help me to relax after a long day at work. Happy watching!

Trauma is a television series which originally

ran on NBC from
September 28, 2009 to April 28, 2010 and
focused on a group of paramedics in San Francisco, California.
A month after its premiere NBC announced it
would not order any further episodes,
but would broadcast the 13 episodes ordered.
On November 19, 2009, NBC reversed its decision,
announcing it had ordered three additional episodes of the series,
bringing the order to 16 episodes;
the order was extended to 20 episodes on January 20, 2010,
as part of a package of episode orders that followed
the demise of The Jay Leno Show.
Trauma returned on March 8, 2010,
with the season finale scheduled for May 10, 2010.
In early April 2010,
NBC reduced the episode order down to 18
and announced an April 26, 2010 finale.
On May 14, 2010, the show was officially cancelled by NBC.

Merdeka Treat!

These are my reading for Merdeka tomorrow.
Bought at Bookxcess this afternoon. For RM9.90 each.
I know it is an old book.
But no harm in rereading after having read it years and years ago.
I can vaguely remember the story line of Through the Looking Glass.
So i decided to buy both to refresh my memory.
It really reminds me of those days when i was young.
My parents would come back from work with a few VIDEO TAPES of cartoon.
I would replay it many times. I even imagined myself as Alice.
I was alone for 7 years before my younger sister were around.
So i basically had a lot of imaginary friends.
It was fun, having imaginary friends.
I could be anyone i wanted to be.
And one of my favourite characters was Alice.

Love the Cheshire cat.
[ I later learned that Charles Ludgwidge Dodgson a.k.a Lewis Carroll was born at Chesire. England]
Thinking of buying the cartoon.
Need to raid the DVD stores soon.

Bizarre Bazaar Part 5

All cars in a row for Iftar.

Nope , we did not go for  holiday.
We were at my cousin's house for Iftar
[refers to the evening meal when Muslims break their fast
during the Islamic month of Ramadan.]

All cars in a row- minus Aiman's since he joined us much later.
We came from different vicinities.
Hence, the cars.

Then i realised,
yes we drive  Malaysian cars!!

This is a play time session.
I bought this cooking set for Insyirah [ my cousin's youngest daughter]
But she is not in the picture ya.
That is Syajdah [ age 8 ]
Farhan [ age 14 ]
Anisah [ age 18 ]
My dad [ age 70 ]
oh ya Aisya, age 19 was watching them
Hahahahahaha!!!!

My family can be very wacky at times.
Well most of the time.

Lunch Hour : Friday [ 27082010 ]

I am with my dear sis-friend Kak Nisah at the office.
She is sewing beads on her daughter's baju kurung, while i surf the net.
A boring Friday for me, since my PC has no internet connection.
The saddest part is : only  mine and Kak Rashidah's PC.

I was practically counting the minutes to lunch hour [ 1215pm ].

I went to the car park to put in 'some things' in the car.
While i was on my way day, I had to cross a busy road [ Jalan TAR ].
And guess what! I was nearly hit my a car!.
I shouted 'HOI!' and showed her the red traffic lights!.

Ishk! The jam is ridiculous at the moment,. here in Kuala Lumpur.

Selangor State is on holiday.

Hari Raya is around the corner.

Hence, KL is packed with humans!!!!

I wonder how my luck would be when I drive back home. It sure doesn't look good at the moment.

Whatever it is :
I AM ON LEAVE THIS MONDAY :
A LONG WEEKEND FOR ME!!:
4 DAYS!

Birthday Hubby and me!

Is that old bud worth your time?

Seriously! Cleo's September issue rocks!!
Please grab one ASAP!

If you experience any of the following, then the answer is NO
  • You feel uncomfortable or anxious when you're with her.
  • She makes  you feel bad about yourself.
  • She isn't true to her word and doesn't keeps appointments.
  • She's completely self-involved and never enquires about you.
  • You're the giver who's always making allowances for her.
  • She never goes out of her way to help you out when need be.

Status Updates?

Just read this in Cleo's September issue:-

"With the spread of social media networks like Facebook and Twitter, we have turned into a generation of narcissits. How have we become so self-absorbed? - by Chris Lee"

This , i agree so much.
Talking from my own experiences in Facebook and Twitter, i used to update my status alot.
After awhile, i realised that it is not good at all to do so.

I was judged , critised, bullied and what not because of my status updates.

And now i am seeing others starting to update alot too
[ weirdly enough they were against it while i was at it ]

Especially those that are going through a hard time or a great time. They both update alot.

I do not know how to put it nicely so that it will not cringe you in anyway... so basically i am gonna be extremely blunt.

Scenario 1 : Someone who just delivered to a bundle of joy would paste tons of photos of their newborns.

The proud mother : Would describe in details how she was at the delivery room [ but seriously not all want to know ]

Reaction from others : Compliments to the parents ..in the end the parents would become ---> NARCISSISTS.

Scenario 2 : Someone who just broke up with their bf/gf would end up telling all the details of the break up, who was bad ..and what not ----> DRAMA QUEEN.

Scenario 3 : You update your status , no one leaves a comment or two , how do you feel?....AHA!! Caught you there!

Okie i think it is enough with three scenarios.

The thing here is that, alot of us barely know those people in our friends list. We would only keep in touch with a handful but exposing our daily affairs and inner thoughts to lots of others [ who would end up using those status updates, photos and all against you ]

Oh Ya! Talking about photos!!!

Ishk, becarefull with what you upload.
Alot of those bad hearted people are waiting for you to have a weird picture of yourself uploaded.
Then they will talk and talk and talk and gossip and........

To sum my random thoughts:-

1. Limit and choose wisely people in your friends list
2. Dont just upload all the pics that you took.
[ if it can't be helped - well sharing is caring right? , make sure you customize your album's setting]

Iesha so MANJA!

Haiyak, this girl is so manja nowadays.
She demands to be let out from her house,
so that she can enjoy the 'breeze' from the fan.
She can lay down for hours on our coffee table.
And also on my mother's favourite carpet.

Above, you can see her on my bed!
She would always take her spot infront of the huge bear , at the corner of the bed.
Then she sleeps.

Hmmmmm....
yesterday, the moment she saw me,
she cried out!

but then before that,
my dad had let her out
she straight away went to my door,
and cried out for me to open it.
Well,
i was sound asleep in my mom's room.
a few minutes before i was rushed to the clinic for the drip.

hmmmm..
yes yes yes,
she is definitely very MANJA now!
